Justice Seen, Justice Done

Confidence Through Collaboration
An event in January 2010 saw the launch of a web-based training and implementation scheme supporting Unpaid Work in the community.

This followed on from the findings of the Making Good project (2005-2008), funded over a three year period by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation.  This work had demonstrated a number of ways in which members of the community could become directly involved with the provision of Community Payback as a community sentence.  (see also  Making Good and Creating Confidence in Justice)

Following completiong of the initial project, and dissemination of the Report, Thames Valley Partnership subsequently worked with Thames Valley Police and Thames Valley Probation to devise  the training pack which was launched at Oxford in January this year. The resource is now live on Thames Valley Probation website
